Dr. Zlatko Jovanov

Dr. Zlatko Jovanov holds the qualifications of a Bachelor of Medical Science (UNSW, 2005) and Master of Chiropractic (Mac Uni, 2009). Zlat is Novoa’s Chiropractor, certified Oxygen Advantage® instructor & Cold Water Immersion instructor. He has a special interest in healthy lifestyle habits that can build resilience and longevity. Zlat gets tremendous fulfilment in helping his patients get out of pain, repair and recover better and removing barriers to movement so they can get back to enjoying the activities they love most as soon as possible.

With close to fifteen years in private practice treating and rehabilitating a wide range of musculoskeletal and associated mild nerve disorders, Zlat enjoys helping his patients find practical solutions to overcoming any obstacles getting in their way of feeling good and doing the things they love. Zlat treats muscle and joint pain, tendinopathies of the upper and lower limbs, back and neck pain, chronic conditions, sports injuries, breathing pattern disorders, stiffness, osteoarthritis, disc injuries and mild cases of nerve pain.

Zlat has experienced the incredible power of the human nervous system and its influence on peoples’ health, physiology, disease, injuries, healing capacity and physical and mental performance. When not helping others in the centre, Zlat enjoys being active outdoors with his lovely wife Becc and three young children.

Elizabeth Magnussen

Dr. Liz Magnussen (B Pharm, Dip Hosp Pharm, Ph.D, B Hlth Sc (TCM)) is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner, holds a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology, and a long term meditation facilitator. The foundation of Liz’s philosophy is a weaving together of physical, mental, emotional and experiential aspects of well-being. Liz’s understanding is grounded in current research backed by both eastern and western science.

Dr. Liz offers consultations, acupuncture and herbs for musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions, respiratory conditions, digestive conditions, emotional conditions, and fertility enhancement. She also offers cosmetic acupuncture and mindfulness coaching. TCM is an age-old approach to medicine that sees the body as a complete system that must be balanced to work in harmony. Inspired by patterns in nature, TCM takes a holistic approach to health and prioritizes prevention over treatment.



Jessie Booth

Jessie has substantial experience working in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. She is a skilled workshop facilitator and conference presenter, with experience in both the public and private sectors.

She is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Psychology Honours from the University of Canberra and has completed post-graduate training with the College of Professional Psychology. Jessie is also trained in EMDR Advanced/Level 2.

Vara Glover

Vara is an experienced counsellor/ mentor with over 15 years of experience in coaching, mentoring and developing people to be the best they can be. She helps her clients move forward by focusing on their strengths.

As an experienced clinical hypnotherapist and strategic psychotherapist Vara helps her clients build inner resilience and strength to navigate mental challenges or obstacles.

Vara specialises in helping her clients overcome fears and phobias, manage anxiety, break free from addiction, improve professional performance in both the athletic and corporate sectors, improve sleep, manage pain and accept the ever changing landscape of parenting.

Vara has birthed both her children by applying hypnobirthing strategies and has applied her learnings to manage the emotion involved when undergoing IVF treatment. (This is an area of treatment she is passionate about.)

Vara studied at the Institute of Applied Psychology and is a registered practitioner with the AHA. (Australian Hypnotherapy Association.)

Vara has been interviewed on Netflix, Triple M and by T.I.M.E (a travel industry mentoring program.) She also writes and blog and her vlogs can be found on her YouTube Channel. Vara has written a book called “Your mind, your choice” and has developed training programs for the corporate sector. She has also worked with MetSEA (a company who train our possible next generation Olympic swimmers.)

For fun, Vara loves the beach, reading books on the power of the mind, yoga, boxing, going out for a meal and travelling with her family.


Caroline Robertson

She has dedicated decades to helping hundreds restore their health through evidence-based Naturopathy, Homoeopathy, Nutrition and Ayurveda. In addition, Caroline is a qualified First Aid Trainer. Caroline takes time to understand client’s concerns before creating a comprehensive program tailored to them. A wholistic program may include a diet plan, herbs, supplements, lifestyle tips, body therapies and meditation.

Caroline can also arrange appropriate lab tests to identify underlying causes including allergies, candida, deficiencies, heavy metal toxicity, hormone imbalances and parasites. As an author of seven books and hundreds of published articles, Caroline is constantly keeping up with the latest advances in complementary health care. She also specialised in Ayurveda – yoga’s sister health system and teaches the Certificate in Clinical Ayurveda for the Yoga Therapy Institute.

In her free time Caroline enjoys sea swims, nature hikes, foreign films, yoga and meditation.


Rebecca Jovanova

Before becoming Novoa’s Brand Manager, Rebecca was the head of Public Relations for a major Australian fashion brand. She has a keen interest in health, but mostly the importance of people and social interaction for overall mental well-being. Like most, she is always looking to find efficient, effective and convenient ways to improve her health while raising her three young children. She has a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Public Relations degree as well as a Diploma in Interior Styling. When not managing Novoa marketing or partnership projects, she enjoys being creative and spending quality time with her young family.
